Fearless Female Interview with Nicky Rasmin of Blueprint Coaching

What is your business and what inspired you to start your business?

I am a parenting coach helping busy working parents to have less battles with their teenage kids and create a deeper, trusted connection.

Essentially – I help my clients become happy, healthy parents and rediscover the loving teen they feared was gone forever.

In what ways do you promote your business and what has been the most effective thing to market your business to date?

My website and Google reviews have been really well received to date along with being guests on podcasts.

I have just developed a booklet called “Top 5 tips to get your teen off the screen without the scream”. I can’t wait to share it with my community.

Do marketing the way you enjoy it. If you like speaking, do a podcast, if you like writing, have a BLOG. If you like presenting, get out there and share. Work to your strengths.

What was the biggest challenge you faced in your business?

Having the tenacity and resilience to keep going when I fell over again, and again.

I think that challenge never goes away, you just get better at dusting off.

What inspires you?

The relationships and connection that I have with my teens inspires me. If I can turn my parenting relationship around with my kids, then anyone can.

When you think of being Fearless what does that mean to you?

Fearless means getting back up.

When you are tired, scared and feeling like you want to quit, it is getting back up again and trying again.

Fearless is falling over ten times and getting back up eleven.

Mindset is so important to running a business. What things do you do to ensure you stay motivated?

I have a ritual of doing a breathing exercise and repeating mantras every night, a sort of meditation.

I try to walk on the beach at least three times a week to clear my head and find space to breathe.

I fill my cup with hobbies that make me laugh and find joy. Art is a passion of mine.

What is your biggest tip for success?

Find your tribe. I have been so fortunate to meet many wonderful people over the years.

Give to others, especially to those in your tribe. It comes back ten-fold in support and community.

If you could pass on anything piece of advice to someone wanting to start a business what would it be?

Identify what you love, your passion and your purpose.

Work within that space.

Do your research.

Then get a great coach! (haha)

Reach out for help. You can’t do everything.
